Elba Island is not just sea and beaches. Just enter the Mediterranean scrub or follow the various paths that run through the valleys of this splendid island to discover another world, made of tranquility and nature. Elba is the ideal place for long walks and trekking. Complete signs will guide you through countless paths that from the sea will take you to the "mountains" to discover a rural world made of nature and breathtaking views. Walking, you will be able to appreciate the most hidden beauties of this fantastic island, climbing towards the pastures to discover the old goats, entering beautiful valleys covered by the typical Mediterranean scrub, up to the possibility of making a real long trek: the Great Elban Crossing (GTE). A tour that, through three stages to be covered in 3 days of trekking, will lead us to cross the entire Elba Island, from Cavo to Pomonte, entering the Elban hinterland, walking in spectacular nature.
